Lagos World Food Fair 2019
World Food Day is an international day celebrated every year around the world on 16 October in honor of the date of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945. The day is celebrated widely by many other organizations concerned with food security, including the World Food Programme and the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
BATN Foundation in partnership with the Lagos State Government is hosting the 2nd edition of the world food day Lagos farm fair on the 16th of October 2019. The Lagos Farm Fair is to drive access to the market for smallholder farmers and provide a business platform to promote Agric-business development.
The fair will host 400 smallholder farmers and attract a minimum of 3,000 shoppers
